Clay Aeschliman’s Meinl signature drumstick is designed for versatility and precision.The 0.580″ diameter and 16.5″ length provide solid feel with excellent control, rebound, and reach. Clay chose a round tip for strong attack and easy control on all playing surfaces. Made in Germany from select American Hickory, each dowel is weighed and sorted before shaping. This ensures a narrow weight and density range, so your sticks always feel the same – pair after pair. Each pair is also weight and pitch matched.

“When designing this stick, it was really important to create something that would complement my playing style. I utilize a lot of double strokes, so it was crucial to have a stick with the heft and shape to dig into the drums on any surface with great rebound – whether it be the hi-hat or the floor tom – yet still remain balanced enough not to feel too large or overbearing. To achieve this, we took inspiration from marching sticks that I used from my drumline days, then furthered that with a design and scale that works for the drum set.
